Walking In Pimlico

Lutyen's porticos
float past me.
The pavement of the Pimlico grid
undulates under foot.
A tree and then a lamp-post
come up to pass me by.
Notices in a window - "Sales and Letting"
meander into view.
The computer-mind, a passing message:
"Too dear for me!" comes up,
then carries on into infinity.
Legs, chest, arms
tailing me,
and a triangle of orange-peel upon the pavement
pops in and out of the void
and back again.
This and this and this, then this:
"Wealthy beyond compare - lillies of the field',
also enters the space and passes on.
