If you had a letter from your bank manager saying some well-wisher, some uncle you had never heard of, had left you a million pounds, I think you would check up to see if he had got it right. You might even write a fat cheque to see if it bounced. Now, the great mystics of the world have said that beyond measure you are richer and more splendid than all the millionaires put together.
