New Book The Man with No Head

Mary Blight - Friday, February 10, 2017

A new book is now available - the illustrated biography of Douglas Harding by Richard Lang and Victor Lunn-Rockliffe. This beautifully illustrated biography follows the life of Douglas Harding as he looked deeply into the question 'Who am I'. Harding wrote many books about 'who we really are', exploring its profound implications in our lives and its connection with the core message of the world's great religions. He also invented experiments that point directly to the 'headless' Reality at our centre. Harding's work is a paradigm shift, a leap into a profoundly new way of seeing ourselves. This graphic biography reveals who this great man was and what he discovered.

"I just finished reading 'The Man With No Head - The Life and Ideas of Douglas Harding' ... wow! I loved the book! The illustrations are wonder-FULL and expand the script so harmoniously. I am so grateful you included his struggles, doubts, and darkness in the journey to his realizations (showing us the mechanism and cost of following a calling). I will sit with this book for years to come (headless and grateful)! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all involved in this beautiful sharing!" MK

"The book is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. What a gift! The artwork enhances the words, and vice versa... truly a magnificent product that I will cherish for the rest of my life!" CL

New Book from Suzanne Visser

Richard Lang - Wednesday, January 25, 2017

This book describes the discovery by the author of a real way out of this fix that is no escape. It doesn’t require accepting any beliefs on bad evidence but does ask us to re-visit the ground of our experience in a very radical and direct way. While spoken of, or sometimes only hinted at in many spiritual traditions, this return to primordial innocence requires us simply to “come to” right where we are as who we really are. If you've explored the world of non-duality teachings you'll have come across advice like this before, but may have found it confusing or impossible to follow. Join the club. Better than merely providing verbal advice, here Suzanne shares some very powerful tools – exercises and experiments to help trigger a shift in perception which can bring home to you the reality of what she writes, or perhaps I should say bring you Home to It.

Following a full and amazingly interesting life of seeking, Suzanne's relatively recent discovery of the work and approach of English philosopher Douglas Harding has proved to be a turning point her life as it has in mine.
Perhaps it will be for you too.

New book about Catherine Harding

Richard Lang - Wednesday, January 11, 2017

The Freedom to Love: The Life and Vision of Catherine Harding by Karin Visser has just been published.

Catherine had already experienced a rich life when she met Douglas Harding, a renowned English mystic and philosopher. As a child she had lost her beloved father in World War II, and a few years later, in Paris, she fell in love with Driss Chraïbi, now one of Morocco’s most renowned writers, and raised their five children.

When the marriage ended she went to India to study under the yoga teacher Iyengar. On her return to Paris she was persuaded to attend a workshop on The Headless Way … Catherine's life story provides a backdrop to the direct and practical experiments of perceiving who we really are, found in this book and developed by Harding.

Visible Gods book now available

Richard Lang - Tuesday, December 20, 2016

Visible Gods is an imaginary dialogue between Socrates and four fictitious modern-day characters.

Socrates' worldview is of a living cosmos with man only half-way up the hierarchy of all beings; above him reign suprahuman beings of great majesty and power - the visible gods.
