No created light can touch this ground and illumine
it, for it is truly God's home and dwelling-place. The whole of creation would not
fill or plumb this void, nothing created could ever penetrate it or fulfil its yearnings.
God alone can fill it with His divine immensity. This abyss of the soul belongs
